Bay Wheels is now Lyft Bike. Every Lyft Bike ride has a feeling — the breeze on the Embarcadero, the satisfaction of conquering a hill, the joy of taking the long way home. It’s a fun, affordable way to explore the Bay Area, with the reliability of Lyft behind every ride.
How it works
It's so easy.
1. Unlock
Pick a bike, open the Lyft or Lyft Bike app (or tap your Clipper card), and scan the QR code.
NOTE: New 19-digit Clipper cards are not yet compatible with Lyft Bike.
2. Ride
Hop on and feel every block, breeze, and hill.
3. Park
Dock your bike at a station for free. Wait for the green light. Ebikes with a cable lock can be parked at public bike racks for $2.
Ebike rides may automatically end if the bike is idle for more than 15 minutes.
